About Campus Cabaret!
We are excited to share with you our NEW and exciting Campus Cabaret! We are transitioning away from Campus Superstar to a NEW concept in an upscale and trendy venue – Feinstein’s at the Hotel Carmichael in Carmel, Indiana. Campus Cabaret! will feature a performance highlighting Jewish Broadway by the national performer, Ari Axelrod, along with Hillel’s own award-winning student acapella group, Hooshir.
Especially during this difficult time as we struggle with antisemitism, we chose to bring Campus Cabaret to you, so that we can celebrate Jewish life and our Jewish future. We chose Ari Axelrod not only for his fabulous voice, upscale intimate show, and exciting approach to highlighting Jewish contributions to Broadway throughout the years; but because he is specifically seeking to combat antisemitism and make Judaism vibrant and exciting even during the darkest of times. “Antisemitism is on the rise…What better way to combat antisemitism than by showcasing the contributions the Jews have made,” said Axelrod.
All proceeds from Campus Cabaret directly benefit IU Hillel programs and students.
