Kick back for a quiet place to study, rest or meet up with friends for a welcoming home away from home atmosphere. Grab a cup of coffee or a snack from the kosher kitchen to refresh for the day.

Dining Hall

The kosher dining hall is more than just a space to gather for Shabbat Dinner. Throughout the week, the dining hall is in constant use by students taking advantage of the space with classes for IU credit and various student groups. With a moveable dividing wall, the dining hall is multi-purpose.

Sunday Sports Grille

The dining hall is utilized by the Sunday Sports Grille, a focal point for it’s six big-screen TVs and kosher pub-style food each Sunday from 1pm- 5pm. Catch the NFL/NBA games of the week while munching on free wings, fries and snacks! Be sure to check out the IU Jewish Sports Wall of Fame recognizing Hoosiers who excelled in sports and left a lasting impact on IU’s Jewish community.


Upper Level

 

The Sanctuary

The sanctuary provides a room for Shabbat services and more. It provides space for X170 classes, guest speakers, and special programs. A versatile space, the sanctuary's main purpose is for prayer, and the room's stained-glass windows and permanent ark bring wholeness to our weekly Shabbat services.

 

The Chapel

The Jewish Culture Center serves a variety of Jewish observances and the chapel provides a second dedicated prayer space for Shabbat services. During the week, the chapel also serves as a classroom, meeting and study space.


Lower Level

 

Wellness Center

A general space to meet friends for billiards, socialize and keep up to date on the latest happenings on campus.

 

Library and Learning Center

With a collection of over a thousand Jewish texts and literature this space is dedicated to enhancing your Jewish learning experience. Our library's extensive Judaic collection is utilized by IU Jewish Studies department students, and open to all. The library, located on the lower level, is always a quiet place to study alone or in small groups.
