Kehilla Kickstart Grants
Kehilla Kickstart at Indiana University Hillel offers microgrants of up to $400 to support IU Bloomington students in creating small programs and campaigns that strengthen Jewish community on campus. Students can apply by completing the form linked below; the Hillel Grant Program Team will review submissions, confirm eligibility, and may request a brief meeting to discuss the proposal.
Grants must be submitted at least two weeks before the event and are processed as reimbursements. Events cannot conflict with major IU Hillel or university‑wide programs. For urgent needs or questions about eligibility, students can contact microgrants@iuhillel.org.
If approved, students will receive an email outlining their funding amount and requirements. To receive reimbursement, grantees must submit:
Marketing materials featuring the IU Hillel logo
Receipts matching the approved budget
At least four photos of students participating
A Hillel Program Report (link provided upon approval)
All materials and unused supplies must be submitted within 14 days after the event for reimbursement to be issued.
