GYP Mission Statement

We are a rapidly expanding group of Jewish graduate students and young professionals in the Bloomington, IN area. We aim to give meaningful Jewish experiences outside of school or work with Jews like you. Expand Your Bubble. 

Overview

With all of the wonderful and unique places and things to do in the Bloomington area, we get together as often as possible to simply have fun while escaping from school or jobs, and doing it with Jews like you!  We frequently have events during Jewish holidays (e.g. Yom Kippur Break Fast and Passover Seder), but we also plan informal events and outings throughout the year. Fall 2012 highlights include a GYP Social at the Bluebird, a “Dessert and Dialogue” in the sukkah and a hike in beautiful Brown County. We aim to have 2-3 events per month and welcome suggestions for new events based on the interests of group members.
